III edition European VR/AR Congress

III edition European VRAR Congress23 – 24 November Copernicus Science Center will become the VR / AR center of Poland for the third time. In the program: lectures and debates of VR and AR practitioners, tests of the latest equipment, the most interesting national and European projects, as well as workshops, start-up area and business networking. Lowest ticket prices – only until the end of August.

 

European VR / AR Congress 2017 is a two-day conference, during which content creators, hardware manufacturers, and technology specialists will honestly talk about their current experiences, current trends and the challenges they face. Important issues will be addressed in areas such as the use of virtual reality in business, its application in medicine, construction and culture and the financial potential of the VR industry.

 

An integral part of the congress is the VR Expo, where you will be able to personally test the latest equipment, familiarize yourself with the most innovative VR / AR experiences and talk with their creators on your own. During workshops small groups will debate about use of technology in selected VR / AR topics.

 

For the second time the part of the congress will be Start-up zone dedicated to youngest companies which create the most innovative projects in VR/ AR sector. The zone consists of the pitching workshops during which the new comers will present themselves in front of potential investors, business dating where start- -ups will compete with each other to win the financing their projects and Start-up Expo where new drafts/ designs will be presented. The new part of the third VR/ AR European Congress will be Start-up Contest- a competition for new comers during which the most innovative design will be chosen and rewarded.

 

The last edition gathered over 400 guests from over a dozen countries. Conference speakers were among others: Joe Robbins (Unity Technologies), Steve Dan (VRARA London), Artur Kurasiński (Ghost VR) and Anton Skiter (Interactive Lab). Participants could test, for example, the PlayStation VR Aim Controller (Fairpoint), and participate in workshops on use VR in real estate and marketing.
